Lois L. Kilcauley

Lois L. Kilcauley, 90, of North Port, Fla., passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012.

She was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and was the daughter of Charles and Leo Lee.

Lois was raised in Hawaii. She met her husband Elmer during World War II, and married at the end of the war and stared their family. Due to her husband’s military carrier, she and her family called many of the United States, as well a parts of Europe, home. In 1973, they retired to Maine. Lois and her husband became snowbirds in 1992, and in 2007, became permanent North Port residents. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and her many rock gardens, as well as square-dancing, playing bridge, cooking, and sewing for her many friends and family.

Lois will be greatly missed by her daughters, Karen (John) Thomas of Massachusetts, and Linda (Roger) Dellaire of Florida; grandchildren, Demian David, Jessica Flaherty and William Nowosielski; great-grandchildren, Corey, Nikolas Nowosielski, Jasmine Irwin, Cameron and Mira Flaherty; brother, Stanley J. Lee of Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer.

A memorial service will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Holiday Park of North Port. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice of North Port. To express condolences to the family, please visit www.Ltaylorfuneral.com, and sign the online guestbook.
