Mary Ann Geoghan, 57, of North Port, Fla., passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.

She was born Sept. 16, 1955, in Teaneck, N.J., to John and Barbara Geoghan.

Mary was known to be a very generous person and was loved by all. She loved her job as a professional tax preparer. Mary enjoyed going to the beaches of Southwest Florida, as well as vacationing anywhere with a beach.

She is survived by her sisters, Dee Cashman, and Liz Geoghan; nieces and nephews, Sheri, Joy, Jesse, and Kassy; and longtime friend, Gary Ploof.
