PORT CHARLOTTE — Donating a can of SpaghettiOs, vegetables or other canned goods will land one lucky individual $100, each day at this weekend’s Holidayfest and Craft Extravaganza.

Volunteers from the North Port Salvation Army will be collecting the canned goods from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds, off State Road 776. The annual event is expected to attract more than 10,000.
