CNN Money top-25 ranking has helped city

In August, North Port was named the second most-affordable city in the country, in terms of home costs, by CNN Money. City officials say the recognition has helped draw interest to North Port.

NORTH PORT — In August, the city of North Port was recognized on CNN Money’s website on its “Best Places to Live” list as the No. 2 location in the country where homes are most affordable, and as one of “25 growing towns (where residents) see their incomes go the furthest.”
