Members of the band the BoogieMen are all smiles after receiving a proclamation from the Punta Gorda City Council Wednesday at City Hall. Mayor Bill Albers, who thanked the band for playing some 120 benefit concerts during their 23-year history, called them "very generous entertainers and truly a Charlotte County treasure."
