Tarpons take third, advance six wrestlers

VENICE — Charlotte and Port Charlotte high schools experienced varying levels of success at Saturday’s District 2A-11 wrestling meet.
The Tarpons won three individual titles en route to a third-place finish, while the Pirates placed eighth in the 11-team field.
