Advice from my
father on politics
Editor:
I’m 75 years old. When I turned 21 many years ago, which at that time was when a person came of age, elections were coming up. I asked my father who should I vote for. My father said, “You vote for the person you think would be the best for the country. Don’t let me, your preacher, your union boss, and especially not any politician, tell you how to vote.”
