Vern L. Bayliss, 72, of Port Charlotte, Fla., our dear father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, with his loving daughter, Joyce Miller, and his best friend, Nina Vettranio, by his side.

He was born June 26, 1940, in Rochester, Mich.

The family would like to thank his many friends for their love and prayers during this difficult time.
