Maurice “Mickey” Graham, 78, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and formerly of Uniondale, N.Y., passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.

He was the only child of Richard and Libby (nee Fein) Graham, born May 7, 1934, in Jamaica, N.Y.

Mickey served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a hard worker from a young age, but primarily managed Finast Supermarkets in New York, and locally managed Charco Office Supply for approximately 20 years. Mickey was a very active man his entire life, and enjoyed fishing, golf, bowling and camping. He was a member of Edgewater Church, the Elks Club and the Rotary Club, and was active with his sons in Boy Scouts. Mickey will be remembered as family man, especially enjoying spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Larue Graham; daughter, Christine (Paul) Malvano Jimino; sons, Scott (Sheila) Graham and Kevin Graham; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Mickey’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Edgewater Methodist Church in the New Sanctuary. To express condolences to the family, please visit www.Ltaylorfuneral.com and sign the online guestbook.

Arrangements are by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
