Dannie L. Raulerson, 77, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

He was born March 30, 1935, to Joseph and Bonnie Raulerson, in Foley, Fla.

Dannie moved to Punta Gorda, Fla., in 1951. He graduated from Charlotte High School, and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. Dannie married Janette nee Whitehurst in 1958. He was the Owner and Operator of Dan Raulerson Construction Company. Dannie was an avid race car driver and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Robin Raulerson, Dannette (Tom) Haus, and Stacy (Tracey) Raulersonp; grandchildren, Jake, Peyton, Rusty, and Jerry; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a brother to Bonnie, Joeann, Ted, Rusty, and Jerry. Dannie is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bonnie; and his wife, Janette.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the New Life Family Worship 28830 Bermont Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
