Dannie L. Raulerson

Dannie L. Raulerson, 77, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

He was born March 30, 1935, to Joseph and Bonnie Raulerson, in Foley, Fla.

Dannie moved to Punta Gorda, Fla., in 1951. He graduated from Charlotte High School, and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. Dannie married Janette (nee Whitehurst) in 1958. He was the Owner and Operator of Dan Raulerson Construction Company. Dannie was an avid race car driver, and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Robin Raulerson, Dannette (Tom) Haas and Stacy (Tracey) Raulerson; grandchildren, Jake, Peyton, Reese and Cody; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a brother to Bonnie, Joeann, Ted, Rusty and Jerry. Dannie was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bonnie; and his wife, Janette.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:15 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at New Life Family Worship, 28830 Bermont Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
