Joan C. Lovelace, 84, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.

She was born July 12, 1928, in Ohio.

Joan and Jerome had lived in Rotonda West, Fla., where they were retired after he sold real estate in Maryland and served in the federal government in Virginia. She had also lived in Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Joan volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Rotonda West, and attended Hope Lutheran Church in Gulf Cove (Port Charlotte), Fla.

She is survived by her son, Allan Lovelace of California. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.
