Ingrid M. Sullivan

Ingrid M. Sullivan, 88, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013.

She retired to Port Charlotte 26 years ago from Shrewsbury, Mass. Ingrid was actively involved with the Scandinavian Club of Venice, Fla., serving as president for several years. She was also a member of the Catholic Parish St. Maximilian Kolbe. Ingrid enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, gardening, painting, and music of all kinds.

She is survived by three daughters, Beth, Laurie and Robin; special family friend, Patricia Astle; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Ingrid was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her daughter, Bonnie; and her granddaughter, Kristina.

A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, Fla., followed by a service and reception at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ingrid’s memory be made to St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 1441 Spear St., Port Charlotte, FL 33948; or to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are by Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home.
