Norman E. Bentley

Norman E. Bentley, 82, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, March 11, 2013.

He was the son of George and Gwendolyn (nee Egert) Bentley, born Oct. 31, 1930, in Washington, D.C.

Norman was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the Shriner’s, and liked to restore Air Streams. Norman enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, traveling, photography, antique collecting, and gourmet cooking for family and friends.

He is survived by his two daughters; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother.
