Judy Ann Smith, 56, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, March 18, 2013.

She was born Oct. 18, 1956, in Kansas City, Kan., to Ruby Fern (nee Lawson) and Charles Albert Poe.

Judy Ann, a former Kansas State Transportation employee, moved to Charlotte County, Fla., from her native Kansas City in 2010.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Jennifer) Smith of Shawnee, Kan.; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob and Chase Smith, and Sofey Aufner; sister, Linda Kay (Bob) Campos of Port Charlotte; nieces, Pamela (D.J.) Myers and Melissa Campos; and nephew, Steven Campos. Judy Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Charles; brothers, James and LeRoy Fisher; and granddaughter, Kailey Smith.

A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. Services and burial will be held in Kansas City.
