Mildred E. Flynn, 76, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

She was the daughter of J. Eugene and Helen Cavanagh, born Dec. 26, 1936, in Saunderstown, R.I.

Mildred moved to Florida 16 years ago from Rhode Island.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Vincent J. Flynn Jr.; sons, Jeffrey S. (Betty) Taylor of Davenport, Fla., and James E. Taylor of Providence, R.I.; grandsons, David J. Taylor and Matthew E. Taylor, both of Providence; brother, James (Helen) Cavanagh of Alabama; seven stepchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Peggy M. Flynn.

A memorial service to celebrate Mildred’s life will be at a later date.
