PORT CHARLOTTE — A man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl who was staying in his home, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Andy Ramos, 30, 500 block of Cicero St., Port Charlotte, allegedly entered the victim’s bedroom and fondled her around 1 a.m. Feb. 25 while she slept. The girl said she was scared and pretended to be sleeping, the report states. The girl told investigators that a noise somewhere in the house prompted Ramos to run from the bedroom.
