PORT CHARLOTTE — Students and adults in red and black stood Tuesday night, some silent and some not, their hands raised with two fingers extended. It looked like an impromptu peace rally had broken out in the Port Charlotte High School gymnasium, but the crowd was hoping for something else.
Across the floor, fans in blue stood the same way, with one difference: They held three fingers in the air.
