Unity Church of Peace members write book

NORTH PORT — Members of Unity Church of Peace, near the Charlotte County line, have written a book of uplifting and touching stories they are selling as a fundraiser for their community.

The idea began with congregation member Edie Driest, who was inspired by a book her father contributed to with World War II service ­buddies 40 years after the fact, composed of stories and personal reminiscences.
