The life and works of award-winning writer Patrick D. Smith was featured on Jan. 15 at the Woman’s Club of Punta Gorda, 118 Sullivan St. in Punta Gorda. The program was presented by the author’s son, Rick Smith, who explored and explained his award-winning DVD, “ A Sense of Place,” based on the idea that shaped his father’s iconic books.
The event was attended by approximately 140 people. After the program, there was a question and answer session and refreshments were provided
