When Thelma Daida entered the front door of Florida Gulf Coast University, Herald Court Centre, last week, she knew exactly what she needed — a catalogue and a little exercise. Zumba, she said, was on her mind.
“I haven’t done Zumba in over a year, and I want to start up again,” she said, flipping through a catalogue for The Renaissance Academy, the university’s adult learning program that offers non-degree seeking students the chance to learn more about topics that interest them most through lectures and short courses.
