PUNTA GORDA — Sarasota High School brought Charlotte back down to earth after the Tarpons started the season 3-0.

The Sailors exploded for five runs in the second inning Tuesday, then added five more in the fifth to win 10-3 in the District 7A-11 opener for both teams.
