Donna Barrett, sales and marketing manager for the Cultural Center of Charlotte County, was thrilled that the center made it into the top 10 among large organizations having the largest number of donors in the 36-Hour Giving Challenge.

She stayed awake for the entire challenge, from 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 p.m. Wednesday. When it was over, the Cultural Center had accumulated $12,565 in donations, not counting the prize it’ll win for placing 10th, and any other prizes or matching funds it may get.
