Consolacion P. Velasco

Consolacion P. Velasco, 69, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.

She was born Aug. 31, 1943, in Manila, Philippines.

Consolacion moved to this area in 1995 from West Hartford, Conn. She was a retired Tax Accountant for Connecticut Bank and Trust, and Bank of America. Consolacion was a member of the Filipino/American Society in Port Charlotte and Connecticut, and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alfonso; sons, Abner (Licia) of Portland, Conn., Zhivago (Marcie) of Lee, Mass., and Paul (Angie) of St. Cloud, Fla.; brothers, Wilfredo Patiag, Rolando Patiag and Gaudencio Patiag Jr.; sister, Erlida Remollena; granddaughters, Olivia Grace and Maya Isabelle; and grandsons, Abner Jr., Lucas and Dominic. Consolacion was preceded in death by her parents, Gaudencio Sr. and Estelita Patiag; and her brother, Eduardo.

A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy St., Port Charlotte.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte.
