Gloria Sushko, 81, of El Jobean, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.

She was born June 4, 1931, in Hackensack, N.J., to Fred and Lydia Lotz.

Gloria worked as a secretary for the Waldwick Board of Education in Waldwick, N.J., for 21 years. She married Arthur Sushko in 1953, and they lived together in Waldwick before relocating to El Jobean in 1989. Gloria was a member of the Women’s Society Methodist Church, the Waldwick Baseball Association and the PTA.

She is survived by her sister, Vivian Redmond of Venice, Fla.; three boys, Jeff Sushko of Hawthorne, N.J., Ken Sushko of Hewitt, N.J., and Roger (Kiki) Sushko of North Port, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to www.standup2cancer.org.
