Beverly R. Davis, 85, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

She was born May 30, 1927, in Moscow, Maine, to Edward and Dorothy Smith.

Beverly attended schools in Moscow and Bingham High School. She married Arthur Boyington and owned a beautician shop in Bingham for many years. Beverly moved from Bingham to Gardiner, Maine, and lived there for many years with her second husband, Isaac, before retiring and moving to Port Charlotte. She was an avid sports fan and she excelled in golf with a lowest handicap of seven and also had 14 holes in one to her credit.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 47 years, Isaac Davis; brother, Aubrey Smith of Florida; and granddaughter, Shari Boyington. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Geneva Hendsbee, and Jeanette Campbell; former husband, Arthur Boyington, who passed away in a drowning accident; and son, Larry Boyington, who passed away in an automobile accident.

No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. of Port Charlotte.
