Robert E. Beamish
Robert E. Beamish, 61, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in Port Charlotte, Fla.
He was born June 4, 1951, in Rantoul, Ill., to Dorothy Mae Dellinger and Robert E. Beamish.
Robert came to Florida in 1991, after having lived in Ohio and Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until 1972, on Okinawa. Robert retired from the heating and air-conditioning industry, and enjoyed fishing, military history and spending time with family.
He is survived by his ex-wife and longtime friend, Debbie Beamish; son, Robert J. Beamish of Deep Creek, Fla.; daughter, Sarah O. Beamish of Port Charlotte; sisters, Shirley Schutte, Kathleen Gordon, Katherine McConkey, Jacqueline Ripa and Mary Moore; brother, Curtis Roberts; grandchildren, David A. and Ashlyn G. Silva of Port Charlotte, and Anthony J. Beamish of Deep Creek; along with 17 nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy M. Roberts; father, Robert E. Beamish; and stepfather, David F. Roberts.
