Helen T. Cobb,79, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.

She was born June 22, 1933, in Indianapolis, Ind. to Michael and Mary (Hayes) O’Connell.

Helen was a graduate of St. Agnes High School. She loved taking care of her family, shopping, and bingo. Helen had spent the last five years in Florida, which she loved and called “paradise”. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Indianapolis and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda.

Helen is survived by her loving children, Michael (Tracie) Cobb, William (Deborah) Cobb II, Theresa Cobb, Susan Sullivan, Mary (Brandon) Brown, Thomas (Amy) Cobb, and Katherine Cobb; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cobb; her parents, Michael and Mary O’Connell; brother, Leo O’Connell; and sisters, JoAnn Morical and Mary Kay Sproch.

Memorial contributions can be made in Helen’s name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 W. Charlotte Ave., Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
