Catherine Ceasar, 94, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Fla.

She was born Jan. 16, 1919, in Leetsdale, Pa., and moved to Port Charlotte in 1997 from Kensington, Md.

Catherine was a magnificent woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will always be remembered by all who loved and knew her.

Catherine is survived by her loving son, Raleigh (Judy) Ceasar of Port Charlotte; sister-in-law, Bernice Ewanko; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh F. Ceasar; her parents, Philip and Anna Ewanko; step-father, Peter Schur; brother, Philip Ewanko Sr.; and sisters, Mary Higley, Ann Modrak, and Helen Kopac.

Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte. Friends may visit www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.
