Donna Faye Cline-Power, 61, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Tampa, Fla.

She was born Nov. 10, 1951, in Arcadia, Fla., to Adrian B. and Hazel Grace Cline.

Donna Faye graduated from DeSoto High School in 1969. After graduation, she moved to Punta Gorda, Fla., and started her successful career in banking, ultimately becoming Branch Manager. She spent 17 years in Cartersville, Ga., retiring from the Bank of America. As a Florida native, she moved back to Port Charlotte in 2011, where she continued her banking career as Branch Manager of Busey Bank. She was on the Board of Directors at the Animal Welfare League in Charlotte County, Fla., and was an advocate for animal fostering, retired greyhounds, and many other canines.

Donna Faye is survived by her two daughters, Adrienne (Matt Bandler) Goff and Nicole Goff, both of Port Charlotte; grandchildren, Cole, Larah and Olivia; brother, Adrian (Jane) Cline of Arcadia; nephews, Ben, Will and Jonathan; her beloved dog, Rummie; as well many extended family and friends, and her Busey family.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Animal Welfare League Charlotte County, 3519 Drance St., Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
