Shine sets sights on pro career

DeSoto County High School graduate Shay Shine is back in High Point, N.C., where he excelled for the High Point University men’s basketball team.

The 23-year-old Shine returned to the area after the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League placed him on waivers Nov. 21 to be effective Nov. 23, according to the D-League online site.
