CAPE CORAL—Though Lemon Bay High School took two games quickly Thursday night at Cape Coral High School, the two teams’ play made the match closer than the score suggested. Neither team made a lot of errors, and neither was willing to give up on tough balls. But Lemon Bay’s serving allowed the Mantas to score in bunches and take an advantage that led to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-22) victory.

The Seahawks responded in the third game with better serving of their own, and Lemon Bay (10-3, 8-0) struggled to handle the change in play.
