Sarasota County administrators say the Pinebrook Avenue intersection improvement project planned at East Venice Avenue up to Ridgewood Avenue could be delayed a year or more due to the impact fee extension the county commission granted Wednesday.

County Engineer Jim Harriott said the project is slated for 2017 but that could be pushed back because staff assumed different impact fee rates than county commissioners agreed to this week.
