Racial words. Apparently, the use of racial epithets is alive and well in the black community. Treyvon Martin’s lady friend testified that he had referred to a creepy “cracker” following him. Charlie Rangel recently referred to white folks as crackers. Use of the “C” word is roughly equivalent to the use of the “N” word, with quite a different reaction. Neither the president nor the attorney general has condemned the use of the “C” word, and I guess the use of this insulting word referring to white folks is not considered.

Combat the Army? Thank goodness for the anonymity for the Gondolier’s phone-in commentary. I wouldn’t want any gun match shooting up my house or car in retaliation for criticism or her warped beliefs that she should have automatic weapons to combat police. One wonders if that Aug. 8th Gondolier letter writer also believes she should be able to buy a tank, missiles and drones for combat in her army. Her misconception is based on her revolutionary army being able to repel Red Coats.
