Sarah K. Castle, age 78, of Venice, died Monday, Oct., 22, 2012. She was born in Logan, Ohio, March 20, 1934.

Sarah attended Coastal Community Church of the Nazarene in North Port and had been a member of the Venice Church of the Nazarene for 27 years Sarah was very active in the Work and Witness Ministries. She was also involved in personal evangelism programs throughout her Christian life. Sarah loved her Lord Jesus Christ above all others.

She is survived by sons Jim Hatfield (Deborah) of Ruskin, Fla., Terry Hatfield of North Port, Michael Hatfield (Tonya) of North Port, Michael Castle (Pam) of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Mark Castle of Omaha, Neb.; daughters Karen Wolfe of North Port and Sharon Norris of Groveport, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

Services: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Venice Church of the Nazarene.
