Orland S. Hale, age 83, of Nokomis, formerly of Bingham, Maine, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Venice Regional Medical Center of complications following a stroke.

He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Virginia; his devoted daughter, Constance Copp of Rangeley, Maine; a granddaughter, Jennifer Gonzales of Riverview, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Emily Gonzales.

Services: A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Farley Funeral Home. Farley Funeral Home, Venice, is handling the arrangements.
