Anna Z. Orlosky
Anna Zadarlick Orlosky was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Pleasant Mount, Pa., to immigrant parents Adam Zadarlick and Julia Roll, who emigrated from Russia and the Czech Republic. After a brief illness, at age 90, on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, Anna went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while a patient at Tidewell Hospice House, Englewood, Fla.
Anna is survived by her husband of 74 years, Edward George, and her sister, Ethel Stankus of Pensylvania.
She is also survived by her children, Edward L. (Karen), of Washington State, Judith V. Walker (Donald), of Hutchinson Island, Fla., Thomas J., of Venice, Fla.; grandchildren, Lorraine, Robert, Julia and Carole, Washington State, Jane Elisabeth, New York, and Timothy, Florida; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Zachary, Kelly, Jessica and Benjamin, Washington State, Daniel (senior airman), South Korea, Ethan, New Mexico, and Marcus, New York; and great-great grandchildren Autumn, James and Rylee of Washington State.
Anna is lovingly remembered for her love of gardening and cooking skills. She was a member of the Venice Church of the Nazarene.
Services: Anna’s family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, with a celebration of her life following at 10 a.m., both at Venice Church of the Nazarene, 1535 E. Venice Ave. Arrangements are under the care of Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel.
