Joseph E. McKee died on Friday, March 15, 2013, after a short illness.

He was born in Philadelphia on Feb. 24, 1939, attended St. Joseph’s Prep, Class of 1957, and graduated from Villanova University with an engineering degree.

He retired to Venice in 2001 and was active in various civic affairs, with a dedication to Friends of Pinebrook Park.

Mr. McKee is survived by Grace McKee, his wife of nearly 50 years; three children; and three grandchildren.

Services: No funeral is scheduled. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
