Venice police were called to an apartment in the 1200 block of Barbara Drive Sept. 18 around 2:45 a.m. to discover a 50-year-old woman had been allegedly battered by two women in their 30s, who also allegedly stole $200 from the woman.

According to the VPD report, Julie Marie White, 35, and Jessica Nicole Palmer, 31, invited the victim to their apartment for drinks and cigarettes. The attack took place during the visit and was stopped when a neighbor walked in and broke up the fight.
