The VHS girls golf team rebounded from a shaky first day, lowering its score by 12 strokes on day two as the Lady Indians finished 12th in the 16-team state tournament.

Venice struggled with Harbor Hills Country Club’s exotic design, with most holes presenting one unique quirk or another. Less-than-ideal weather conditions in Lady Lake also contributed to the Indians’ slow start.
