Wrestling team performs well at Bayshore Classic

The Venice High wrestling team wasted no time showing marked improvement over last year’s team as the Indians defeated Lakewood Ranch (75-0) and North Port (33-32) at last weekend’s Bayshore Classic.
Such a promising early-season outing bodes well for a squad that finished 15-6 and was the district runner-up last year.
