Venice High’s antiquated, albeit beloved, Teepee is ready to be replaced by a state-of-the-art gymnasium that will give VHS athletics a beautiful new home.

The new gym, set to host its first event the week of Sept. 16, is part of the school’s ongoing $82 million renovation project and also includes the classroom building that was completed in 2012 and a performing arts center that will be ready in 2014.
