Tarpons’ offense presents unique challenges for Indians

The Venice Indians’ 4-4 defense is designed to stop the run, and so far this year — with the exception of the Manatee game — the unit has been stout against some of the area’s top backs.

Friday’s home matchup with 2-0 Charlotte will present Venice with a challenge they haven’t seen yet this year: The Tarpons, unlike Southeast, Palmetto or Manatee, like to throw it around a bit.
