New gym opens Thursday for volleyball showdown

The new VHS gym will open Thursday when the volleyball team hosts Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas in a rematch of last year's state championship game. The match starts at 6 p.m.

Venice High’s new gymnasium will open Thursday for the volleyball team’s match against St. Thomas Aquinas, a rematch of last year’s 7A state championship game. The varsity match will start at 6 p.m, with JV preceding at 4:30 p.m.
