I found myself at another boat show last week. I attend a lot of boat shows throughout the year, ranging from small shows featuring a couple of local dealers to bigger shows in cities all around Florida. But this show — the Miami International Boat Show — is the biggest. To borrow a phrase, “it’s huuuuge.” In fact, this boat show is so big it can’t be held in just one location. There were hundreds of yachts on display at two marinas and thousands of boats and vendors at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

I worked in the convention center, representing Everglades Boats. Everglades had an awesome display with at least one example of each of their models. I sincerely believe that Everglades builds the best family fishing boats today. I am lucky enough to be able to run these really cool boats up and down our west coast. When you see me in one of these boats, I will certainly be grinning from ear to ear.
